Cryptoak: GGM Community Forum Meeting Minutes 2/25/21
Cryptoak, as a candidate for CCR, a trusted leader in the community, and by special request from Unifi Protocol, will be leading a biweekly GGM community forum.
The purpose of this forum will be for the following:
1. Anyone interested in participating in the Unifi Protocol Global Governance Model (GGM) — CCR candidates and UNFI stakers/voters.
2. Discuss the creation of the GGM.
3. To create a space for community members to share their thoughts, bounce creative ideas off of one another, ask questions, and become more connected with the community and be heard.
Meeting Minutes 2/25/21
The following was discussed and are the topics and suggestions from the community.
- How these community forums will operate
- Community Driven: Cryptoak is just the host/moderator
2. What do we think the GGM should look like?
- As brought up by our community member rDan0000, who posted in the Unifi Protocol subreddit, we should have a centralized location to discuss features and enhancements: https://www.reddit.com/r/UnifiProtocolDao/comments/lqjihj/feature_enhancement_ideasrequests_feir/
- A requirement for CCRs should be supporting the marketing efforts by the Unifi team.
- More how to buy and where to buy UNFI, and how to videos for the less technical users — this could be a role for the CCRs or the team.
- Community members expressed a dislike of large exchanges becoming CCRs and viewed them as not representing the community.
- A lot of excitement around the launch of Farms and how that will help continue the growth of the liquidity on the protocol.
